The TMO class has had a busy fall - enjoying the wonders of nature the beautiful fall colors and pumpkins for Halloween. The children had fun playing in the Halloween sensory bin, scooping and pouring beans and orange colored sand into pumpkins and pails.
The train set continues to interest the children, they are learning to share and work together as they play.
To illustrate the concept, enhance the joy, and use those large muscles, we had falling leaves in the classroom and the children had fun tossing and raking the leaves!
Because of the rainy weather, the children had their first visit to the indoor play area. It is also the room we use for movement. In this room the children can slide and use riding toys. This allows them to use large muscles and have a large space to play.
Your children are happy to be at school! We are still working on smooth transitions, as the children continue to experience the daily routine it will become easier.
I look forward to meeting with most of you tommorow, and chatting about your children.
