Red Room News - October 28, 2016

Hi Red Room Parents,

We had such a great time learning about farm animals! The Teeny Tiny Farm was a great way to end this experience. The children decorated barns using different types of materials and put stickers of farm animals inside. Sorting animals, matching colored pig tails on pig bottoms, playing with pigs in the mud, painting pigs in the mud with marbles, and even using corn to create an interesting texture were some of the many things that we did!

We had our Halloween party in the classroom Thursday. Your child brought home a small pumpkin that he/she found in our make believe pumpkin patch! The children also enjoyed making a ghost craft, and listening to a special Halloween story. Thank you Holly, Melissa, Rachel, and Katie for making our party so special.

Don’t forget!!! Monday is Orange Day! Instead of costumes everyone in the school wears orange on Halloween.

Be on the lookout for more news in the SSP blog soon!

Thanks so much and have a wonderful weekend,

Blanche and Debbie
