It seems like ages ago that we enjoyed visiting the Teeny Tiny Farm. Amy and I especially loved seeing some children overcome their fear of petting the animals. They courageously moved from one to the next with growing confidence!
As you see, we have had a lot of enthusiasm leading up to Halloween. We made Jack-o-Lanterns, carved a pumpkin, felt the ooey, gooey seeds and innards and have learned to sing Five Little Pumpkins. Hallowen is Orange day in celebration. Feel free to send us pics of your children; we’d love to see them in costume!
In the classroom, we have been exploring autumn on the farm
One day is chilly, the next is hot. Thanks to all of you for sending warm clothes on the cold days.
As we approach Thanksgiving, we will spend a lot of time talking about gratitude and thankfulness. Be sure to talk about this with your children. It’s never too soon to model an attitude of gratitude!
As always, thanks for sharing your beautiful children with us. We are thankful you have entrusted them to our care.
