The TMO classroom is filled with the many signs of fall. The art area is a busy center with the children painting, gluing and decorating pumpkins with different art mediums. The sensory bin is filled with acorns and pinecones and the children have had fun dumping, pouring and filling various containers. Our outside time has given the children many opportunities to use their large muscles as well as to look for signs of fall.
Some of our fine motor activities this month included playing with play dough, dropping “coins” into cans and stringing beads.
A few of the books we have been reading during circle time are “Little Cloud” by Eric Carle,” It’s Pumpkin Day, Mouse” by Laura Numeroff and “Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin” by Tad Hills.
During the month of November, we will be talking about Thanksgiving and all the things we are thankful for. Thank you for sharing your little ones with us.
