St. Stephen’s Preschool welcomes applications at any time during the year. Parents can apply online (see link below), download a form found in “Important Papers for Parents” under the Parent Resources menu or receive an application form by contacting the preschool office at (804) 288-6401 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. A fee of $25 is due when your application is submitted. We appreciate your interest and will acknowledge your application.
The best way to get a feel for our school is to experience it - we want to meet you! We encourage parents of prospective students to tour the school and classrooms. Please contact the Director, Jan Locher, to schedule a visit for you and your child, call (804) 288-6401 or email Jan Locher. Tours are scheduled between 9:45 and 11:15 am, Monday - Friday.
Once you have applied, your child will receive priority by date of application for the next year’s appropriate classroom. It is the policy of St. Stephen’s Preschool to give first preference for enrollment to parishioners of St. Stephen’s Church and siblings of children currently enrolled in the program. Within each group, date of application is key.
Enrollment contracts are mailed in January, prior to the beginning of school in September.
Should a class be filled, your child will be placed on a wait-list and may be enrolled if any space becomes available. Your child’s application is automatically enrolled for the next academic school year, should your child be placed on the wait list.
