Support Your Child's Reading Success!
Did you know? Children who read for just 20 minutes a day are more successful in school and life.
Now that we've all settled in to our new fall routines, the SSP library and our Celebration Book program is gearing up. Our little library is a great resource and is a popular choice for the kids when a parent can be there to read to them.
Spending part of your morning as a reading volunteer is a fun way to see the students in action and read a few books to eager ears. A SignUp Genius invite will be sent to the 5-Day parents to volunteer for the library. Feel free to share that invite link with caregivers and family members.
Please also consider donating a book to the library as part of our Celebration Book program. Whether your child is having a birthday or you just want to celebrate the year at St. Stephen's, it's a perfect way to leave your child's footprint. We will add a bookplate in the donated book with your child's name for scores of future preschoolers to enjoy.
There are a few easy ways to give!
Amazon: Go to the "Find a List or Registry" and type in St. Stephen's Preschool if you are having trouble using the link above.
Scholastic Book Purchases: Ordering from Scholastic Book Clubs is an easy way to find the best books that are just right for your child's grade and interests.
